Progress for today — no perfection required.
Build better days, Aaron.
One realistic step at a time. Your plan is built around what matters: better sleep, more energy, stronger muscles, balanced meals, and less stress.
Build toward enough time in bed, gradually. Quality matters too.
Usual steps per day. No need to chase more just for a number.
Today's manageable goals
Today's focus
Start simple.
Quick note
Feeling tired doesn't mean you need to push harder. Getting enough sleep and eating regularly may help more than adding extra steps.
Persistent fatigue, snoring, gasping during sleep, or daytime sleepiness should be discussed with a healthcare professional.
A plan you can actually keep
The focus changes gradually. Start with weeks 1–2; you can advance when ready, not on a deadline.
Consistent wake time, daylight in the morning, regular meals, water, and a short relaxing routine. Two easy strength sessions if energy allows.
Two 15–25 minute strength workouts each week. Maintain regular meals and keep working on sleep.
Work toward 2–3 strength sessions weekly; add enjoyable moderate-intensity cardio if recovery and energy allow. Try a balanced plate for most meals.
Use your sleep and energy trends to decide what helps. Increase difficulty slowly, never at the expense of recovery.
Strength session A
About 15–20 minutes, twice a week alternating with B.
2 sets of 8–12 repetitions
2 sets of 8–12
2 sets of 8–12
2 × 15–30 seconds
Strength session B
Light and controlled. Rest between sets.
2 sets of 10–12
2 sets of 8 per leg
2 sets of 8–12
2 sets of 8 per side
Simple eating guide
No calorie counting needed to start.
Eggs, yogurt, beans, lean meat, tofu, or fish.
Fruit or vegetables at least twice a day to begin.
Avoid accidentally skipping meals when busy or stressed.
Recovery & stress
Stress management is part of the plan, not a bonus.
Try slow breathing, stretching, quiet music, or sitting outside.
Aim for a low-stimulation wind-down, regardless of when anyone else falls asleep.
Sleep log
Record last night. Approximate numbers are fine.
A realistic bedtime approach
Aaron currently aims for bed around 10 PM and wakes around 5 AM, but may not fall asleep until midnight.
Consistency helps set your body clock.
If you're awake and frustrated, get out of bed briefly and do a quiet activity; return when sleepy.
Work toward 7–9 hours of actual sleep. Address insomnia rather than simply spending more awake time in bed.
